Igniting potential, one child at a time
Children face countless challenges in today's world. Our mission was inspired by the desire to ease these frustrations and provide kids with the everyday needs and tools essential for success. By celebrating each child as an individual, we aim to not only support them but also to inspire them to reach for their dreams. We believe that with a little help, every child can unlock their full potential.
Cultivating kindness, nurturing futures
We envision a world where every child knows they are cared for and valued. Through Startwith1kid, we hope to instill in them the understanding that there are people who genuinely care about their well-being. By experiencing kindness, we believe these children will be empowered to extend that same kindness and care to those around them, fostering a ripple effect of compassion throughout their communities.
Our approach: practical care, lasting impact
Startwith1kid actively works to bridge the gap for children in need. We provide essential everyday items through dedicated fundraising efforts. We also aim to recognize and celebrate children who might otherwise miss out on simple joys, like birthday parties, due to financial constraints. Personally, I've gathered good used coats, gloves, and hats from thrift stores for school coat closets and contributed to lunch programs. Becoming a PTA member will further my insight and promote our mission directly within the schools.
